Tony Curtis

From the moment in 1991 when Tony Curtis won a talent show in Ocho Rios, Jamaica he had an amazing ability to convey his message in a song in such a way that he always held listeners' attention. His sensually sentimental tone, immaculate clarity and forward projection, with perfectly smooth phrasing over any rhythm showed that he was evolving into one of the genre's brightest stars.

His exceptional remake of the Burt Bacharach classic "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" entitled "High Grade" from album "Stronger" served as the reggae anthem of 2002. This single was self-produced and gave the world a first time glance of his productions skills. These skills were clearly far from novice as the single blazed through airwaves and compilation CDs internationally.

Three years later Tony was back. A new album entitled "Ready for the World" produced by Michael Jahmikes Coburn for Reggae Vibes Productions Inc. was released in May 2005. This time, Tony unleashed his vocal prowess and writing skills, artistically defining the concept of love as the sole aberration to war. As is customary, this album was flavoured with Curtis's traditional romantic ballads especially for the ladies.
