K.Sling has been chanting songs for the past eight (8) years. The Spanish Town based artist Sling has a mixture of songs with conscious lyrics. He has songs in rotation on both Radio and in the streets.

K.Sling, born Keron Rowe, also has a combination “Tribute to Usain Bolt” with Deejay Chrystian.
The song featured on CVM television and gave the duo recognition eight years ago. The young deejay also holds one of the top post in Just for Peace. Sling is the Entertainment Manager in the organization which has not only received commendation from Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen but featured on TVJ’s Hill and Gully Ride and received a full page from veteran journalist , Mr, Ian Boyne, in the Sunday Gleaner, April 1, 2007.
As Entertainment Manager Rowe’s responsibility include deputizing for Founder, Eugene Pitter. He also co-ordinates the Just for Peace school tours, select artistes songs for both television and radio interviews, stage manager, attend seminars, provide contracts and keep abreast with entertainment news, both local and abroad.
Rowe recalls being interested in music at age 15, while attending Jonathan Grant High school where he was influenced by friends with similar talent.
He performed at a few community shows, in an around Spanish Town along with his friend,Garnet Allen, aka “Zagga U” and Orien Gilzene aka Chrystian.
Having to move from Jonathan high in 2006 to private School, K. Sling became more serious in music performing at the annual Galiday Bounce in 2006 to 2010,
which contribute to K.Sling getting interview on Hitz92fm from Radio Personality Izah Bing on his Saturday night bleachers show. K.Sling also did shows in Trelawny Ulster Spring Annual Concert 2011 and 2012.
K.Sling performed at (SDC) Social Development Technology Centre 100th Community Access Point at the Spanish Town Information Technology Centre in the old capital, where Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, Phillip Paulwell was the key speaker February 2O, 2013. K. Sling also performed at Appleton Sports Complex in St.Elizabeth at many events.
K. Sling joined J. F. P. Project after another Jonathan Grant student “Benefit” introduce him to the organization. This move gave him a number of links including performing at several schools. These include inswood High and Glenfoffe High school in St. Catherine. A key member of the organization, Rowe began to learn all the roles of management before he was given that key position in 2013. This came after some six years representing the organization on such programs as TVJ’s Intense, CVM at Sunrise, interviews for the articles publish in the Sunday gleaner,.
For the future Keron (K.Sling) Rowe hopes to continue performing his lyrics like a never ending story.
